Mr. Anil Kumar Chaudhary, is a Group MD & CEO, Essar Group (Ex-Chairman, SAIL) and Chairman, Minerals and Metals Committee, PHDCCI Shri Anil Kumar Chaudhary is a widely acknowledged leader and amongst the most respected professionals of the Industry. He is currently serving as Group MD & CEO for ESSAR Group, responsible for Metals and Mining related initiatives across the Globe. He superannuated from the services of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) where he served for almost 37 years, in December, 2020. Prior to this, he had also served in erstwhile IBP Co. Limited giving him over 44 years of rich experience. Traits like passion, diligence and perseverance have been the hallmark of his entire life and especially his professional life, contributing to his phenomenal rise to the position of Director (Finance), SAIL in 2011 and later the Chairman in 2018. He also served as Chairman of mjunction services ltd, a JV of SAIL and Tata Steel, and International Coal Ventures Ltd. (ICVL), a JV of five CPSEs namely SAIL, CIL, NTPC, RINL and MMDC. After completing his graduation, B Com (Hons) from DU, Shri Chaudhary entered the corporate world at a young age. However, with his unwavering attitude coupled with humility and zeal to learn and update himself, he went on to acquire professional degrees like CMA, CS, PG Diploma in Personnel Management and LLB. Never known to stop, his juggernaut continued as he garnered all-round knowledge of the Industry. His success story cuts across various functions and disciplines like Finance, Marketing, Operations, Projects, Personnel, Materials, Business Planning, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, etc. Shri Chaudhary has always been a man with macro perspective. He has steered the efforts of Industry and Commerce bodies like FICCI, CII, PHDCCI, SRTMI, etc. for the development and growth of industry and economy at large.

Mr. Rajat Kumar Mishra has extensive experience in incubating new business lines and strategic initiatives in Indian and multinational companies. He has expertise in product innovation and execution of intelligent transportation systems and was involved in the implementation of the FASTag systems, AI-based incident detection systems and integrated traffic management systems. He is currently the Managing Director at EFKON India wherein he is responsible to strategize and execute Intelligent Transportation system projects and several other projects. He was also associated with Siemens in India and Europe for several years in different capacities. He is a visiting faculty at India Institute of Technology and is also associated with Manava Bharti Society – National Trustee . Mr. Mishra holds a Bachelors degree in Technology (Electrical Engineering) from IIT Delhi and Masters in Business Administration (International Business) from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.

Mrs. Jyoti Davar has extensive experience of working with Indian corporates and industry bodies. Jyoti Davar is currently the Additional Director General at FICCI, working with cross functional teams on matters such as economic affairs, financial sector, corporate laws, IBC, corporate governance and CSR. As Deputy Secretary at FICCI, she has anchored several key initiatives and conceptualised and facilitated several ministerial delegations for the Finance Ministry, Government of India on investment promotion. She was also the Chief of Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Governance, and Financial Services at the Confederation of Indian Industry. Jyoti Davar has completed her Masters in Business Economics degree from University of Delhi and Bachelors of Commerce degree from Sriram College of Commerce, New Delhi.

Mr. Ralf Nowack joined Actis in 2019 as Energy & Infrastructure Operations Director. His main focus is with Actis’ Long Life Infrastructure Fund (ALLIF) deals from both a due diligence perspective and driving operational performance to ensure that the assets deliver the firms’ investment committee case expectations. Prior to Actis, Ralf worked at Contour Global for three years as Renewables COO, managing an operations portfolio of over 1500MW of wind, solar and hydro assets. He was also responsible for the construction of new build renewable projects and global health and safety. Ralf has 30 years’ experience working in the power sector across Europe, Latam and Asia with Contour Global, RWE and the Steag Group undertaking a number of roles in Finance, Operations, Commissioning, Project Management and Engineering. Ralf is a mechanical engineer holding a PhD from Aachen University in Germany on “Reduction of CO2 emissions from coal power plants”. He speaks English, German, Spanish, French, and a bit of Dutch.

Mr. Sumit Sen is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has over 21 years’ experience across accounting, investment banking and investing in energy, infrastructure and other sectors. He has been involved with the infrastructure sector in various roles throughout his career with specific focus on investments in the infrastructure sector over the last 12 years. Sumit joined the Actis Long Life Infrastructure team in 2017 and is responsible for Actis’ infrastructure activities in India and South East Asia. Prior to joining Actis, Sumit worked for more than a decade at Goldman Sachs (GS), most recently as Executive Director in the GS Principal Investment Area (PIA) where he was responsible for investments across sectors with a specific focus on energy, infrastructure, TMT and healthcare. Whilst at PIA, Sumit was a key member of the team that led the investment in Renew Power, one of the largest Indian renewable companies.

Mr. Rakshit Jain is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Cost Accountant (ICWA) and an MBA with almost 30 years of focused infrastructure development experience since the initial period of ‘opening-up’ of Indian Economy in 1992 having worked across spectrum in Power, Roads, Ports, Airports, Industrial infrastructure sectors both in Private (India & International) as well as Public Sector. Developing the business strategy for a large international infrastructure group in the Highway & Airport sectors for India – bidding for brown field projects, evaluating M&A options for the sector. During the last 12 years have submitted bids for 40-50 NHAI road projects, multiple M&A projects in the road sector and 3 airport projects. Have also worked with Autostrade India Infrastructure Development Private Limited, a subsidiary of Atlantia SPA, for 15 Years. Have directly led the implementing and construction of Highway project since bidding to operationalization of road projects. Total of more than 15 years direct experience in bidding, developing, implementing and operating Highway Projects. Have been intricately involved in financing of infrastructure projects since early stage of careers and have over time been involved in raising of more than $10 bn equivalent of international and domestic financing.

Mr. Gaurav Chaturvedi is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Gaurav has more than 19 years of experience in raising debt & equity financing in roads, metro & transmission sector. He has core experience in Build-own-operate concession based infrastructure sector and M&A transactions. Gaurav has worked with large groups like L&T and HSBC and has lead the team for setting up of IndInfravit InvIT.
Company Secretary & Compliance Officer
Aditi Tawde is a qualified Company Secretary and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Mumbai. She has over 13 years of experience in the corporate and legal domains. She was associated with Tata Communications Payment Solutions Limited, K Raheja Corp and with Nexus Select Mall Management Private Limited where she had handled the legal, secretarial and listing compliances for the communications, real estate and retail sector. She currently heads the secretarial compliance at Walter Infra Manager Private Limited (Investment Manager of Nxt-Infra Trust). She spearheads the compliance for six road assets acquired form Welspun group and oversees the establishment of an InvIT , managing InvIT related compliances under SEBI InvIT regulations.

Mr. Jayanta Neelkanth Dixit is a Civil Engineer (BE Civil from Collage of Engineering Pune) by profession with almost 36 years of experience in large Infrastructure projects like Nuclear Power plants, New railway lines, tunnels, bridges, construction of National Highways and Expressways and Operation and Maintenance of Road projects. He is also a Certified Pavement Engineer from the US. Having technical knowledge on design and performance of rigid and flexible pavements. He has strong exposure to latest techniques and material being used worldwide, in bridge road construction and operations for optimization of costs. He has been Involved in bidding for greenfield and brown field road projects, evaluating M&A options for road assets in India and abroad by giving detail technical inputs. He has directly led the construction teams for highway construction and has been responsible for P&L of the projects for over 25 years with projects spread across Indian peninsula.

Mr. Rajesh Chaabra is a seasoned civil engineer and senior infrastructure leader with more than twenty eight years of experience across Roads and Highways, Railways, Metro, LRT, Water Infrastructure and high speed mobility systems. His expertise spans design, construction, O&M, asset management and strategy, supported by a strong technical foundation through an MBA, an M.Tech in Soil and Foundation Engineering, and a BE in Civil Engineering.
Throughout his career, Rajesh has led large multidisciplinary teams and delivered complex infrastructure programs across India, Mauritius, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, African nations, CIS countries and the Philippines. His experience ranges from national highways and expressways to international rail and metro systems, along with major bridges, tunnels and strategic logistics corridors.
Before joining NXT Infra, Rajesh held several senior leadership positions. He served as Executive Director for Transportation in South Asia at Egis, leading P&L, business development, strategy and global delivery. Prior to this, he was President and Head of Business, Strategy and Asset Management at Welspun Enterprises, where he oversaw performance across highways, HAM and BOT projects, and led risk management, safety, ESG, quality and planning functions at an organisation wide level.
He has also spent more than a decade with Systra, Halcrow and Jacobs in leadership roles, managing iconic rail, metro and highway programs and guiding global design teams of more than five hundred professionals. His work with international funding agencies such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and African Development Bank brings deep exposure to global standards, governance frameworks and sustainability requirements.
In his role as Chief Technical and Sustainability Officer at NXT Infra, Rajesh anchors the Trust’s technical strategy, asset performance, resilience planning, sustainability roadmap and ESG implementation. He drives engineering excellence across the portfolio while strengthening environmental and community outcomes in line with NXT Infra’s long term vision for safe, sustainable and future ready road networks.
Rajesh is a Chartered Engineer and an active member of the Indian Roads Congress and the Institute of Engineers. His leadership brings a strong combination of technical depth, global project experience and a firm commitment to sustainable infrastructure development.
